COVID-19 related knowledge, attitudes and practices in small-scale gold mining areas in Suriname - 2022
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This report presents the social impact study for the Project “Integrating SARS-CoV-2 Ag-RDTs testing in the health service provision of Community Health Workers (CHWs) working among mobile migrant communities in remote gold mining settings in Suriname”, hereafter named “the Project”. The Project is executed by a consortium of the Suriname Ministry of Health Malaria Programme (MoH-MP), the Foundation for the advancement of Scientific Research in Suriname, and Social Solutions consultancy. The latter was responsible for this impact study. Financial support was provided by FIND-Diagnosis for all.
